2023: Jega warns Nigerians against voting for PDP, APC

 


In front of the 2023 general races, previous Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega has forewarned Nigerians against deciding in favor of the decision All Progressives Congress (APC) and the primary resistance Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). 


Talking in Kaduna State during a meeting with BBC Hausa, the ex-INEC supervisor contended that the two significant ideological groups were inseparable from debasement, requesting that the majority pick a dependable other option. 


"The APC and the PDP have [ruled] all we have seen, they don't mean change," Jega said. "In the event that you take a gander at the battle against debasement, every one individuals who are supposed to be criminals will be rebuffed in light of the fact that they took under the PDP, presently they have surrendered to the APC, and you are quiet." 


"That is the reason we trust the time has come to make a stage for all great individuals to get back to, to add to the reason for change in Nigeria." 


Talking further, the 64-year-old Professor of Political Science at the Bayero University Kano, said he enrolled as an individual from the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), to perceive how he could "help" Nigeria.
