Bitcoin is a crypto currency invented in 2008 by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto. The currency began use in 2009 when it's implementation was released as open source software.
The pseudonymous inventor of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, who has yet to reveal their identity, may have indicated that they are still active in the crypto currency market.
New research from Traders of Crypto has revealed that 10 of the world's biggest holders of crypto have net worths of over US$1 billion. At the top of the list is Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin, who is rumoured to own around 1 million Bitcoins - although no one knows who he really is.
